Devices and Operating Systems supported by the Goodnature App and required permissions

Here’s a list of which operating systems (OS) support the Goodnature App:

• iOS 15 and above
• Android 10 and above
• Tablets and iPads are not supported.

If you’re still unsure if your phone will support the Smart cap you can find your OS version on your phone here:

• iPhones: go to Settings > General, then tap About.  The version of iOS you have will show here. 
• Android phones: go to Settings > About phone > Software info. Your android version will be listed here. 

Depending on the type of smartphone you have, you may need to enable the Goodnature App to have certain permissions for kill data/information to be captured. Your phone will prompt you if location permissions are needed (Android only). If so, please set to ‘Always' or 'Whilst using the App’. We’re not using this data, it allows your smartphone to detect and connect BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) devices in the background.
