The Smart Cap is activated but doesn’t appear on my app
If you have activated your Smart Cap in the past but it isn't showing up in your 'Traps' page in the app, this could be down to a few different reasons below.
You activated the Smart Cap on a different account
The Smart Cap activates to the account, rather than the device, so this means that if you activate the cap and then log into a different account you won't be able to see the trap in your app or sync with it. You also won't be able to activate it again as this can only be done once. Logging into the correct account should allow to see the cap and sync with it again.
The Smart Cap was activated by someone else
If the Smart Cap was activated by someone else (such as if you purchased the trap second hand), similar to the above point, you won't be able to see the trap in your app, sync or activate it. We can transfer the trap from the old account to the new one, just let us know the email address associated with the Goodnature App account of the previous own and address of your account and we can get that sorted!
The trap was manually deleted from the app
The Goodnature App allows you to delete any traps from their account which will cause them to no longer appear your account. If you did this by accident and need the trap to be restored to your account, give us an email or call with the details below and we can restore it to your account!
