When do I need to charge my Goodnature Mouse Trap?

The Goodnature Mouse Trap will indicate that it is nearly run out of power by the light on the top of the trap flashing red. Please note that the trap is still able to fire when it is flashing red.

To charge the trap, just take the USB-C cable that came in the box and plug it into the trap and an outlet. Your trap will then enter Safe Mode (as indicated by the light changing colour to white) and begin charging.

You can find more information on what the different light colours mean here.

How often do I need to charge the Goodnature Mouse Trap?

The Goodnature Mouse Trap (GMT) has enough power to make 100 strikes in a single charge however, even if the trap hasn’t made any kills you may still see the amount of power it has decrease over time as it uses the power for other functions. Due to this we recommend charging your GMT at least every six months or so.

When the GMT is plugged in and charging you will see a white light on the top indicating it is in Safe Mode and unable to be triggered. It should take approximately 3-4 hours to reach full charge from empty. You can check if your GMT is fully charged by connecting to it via the app and tapping it on the Traps page.
