How often should the lure be changed in the Goodnature Mouse Trap?

If you are using the Goodnature Donut, we recommend swapping out the Donut in the trap every three months. After that time the Donut will become less attractive so replacing it with a new one will ensure that the mice keep smelling it. If the Donut is left in the wrapper, it will have a shelf of 18 months from manufacture.

If you are using your own lure, such as peanut butter, this will need to be changed more often, usually every 3-4 days to ensure it remains attractive.
