How to Remove the A24 from the Trap Box

If you purchase a Professional Trap Kit your A24 will come in the Trap Box, ready for use. However, if you wish to remove the A24 to mount it on a Trap Mount or Stand you can follow the below steps. If you purchased a Trap Box on it's own and wish to put the A24 in it, you just need to do these steps in reverse!

1. Unload the Trap on the Trap Tray

Open the Trap Box and carefully slide the trap on the Trap Tray out of the Trap Box and place it on a stable surface.

2.  Unscrew the gas canister

You might hear gas escaping, which can cause the canister to freeze quickly, so use a cloth to unscrew it safely.

3. Unscrew the Cap & test fire 

After removing the canister, the trap may still have one charge loaded. Use a pen or the Box Key to trigger from above and empty the chamber.

4.  Remove the Trap from its Tray

On a flat surface, hold the tray down firmly with one hand and pull the trap body up with the other. The trap will slide out from the tray.
